Caramel Apple Cobbler Dump Cake

  • Ingredients :

° 1 packet (15 ounce) pecan buttermilk cake mix
° 2 cans (21 ounces) apple pie filling
° 1 jar (14 ounce) caramel sauce
° 1 teaspoon apple pie spice (or cinnamon)
° 1 cup butter
° 1 cup pecan halves

  • Instructions :

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Flab a 9*13 inch baking plate .

Spread both pie filling boxes on the bottom of the baking dish. Sprinkle caramel sauce over the pie filling. (You may need to heat the caramel sauce in the microwave for 30 seconds until it’s brittle.)

Place the dry cake mixture and (cold) butter sticks in a medium bowl. Use a pastry mixer or fork to mix the butter into the dry cake mixture.
Sprinkle cake batter and butter mixture over the caramel layer. Add pecans on top.

Bake uncovered for 45-50 minutes.
Serve with ice cream or sweetened whipped cream.
