1- Reducing the risk of most types of cancer: According to a study published in the journal “Breast Cancer Study”, eating eggs daily can reduce the risk of most breast cancers by 18%. Additionally, eggs contain a lot of amino acids, vitamins, and minerals that help stabilize estrogen levels which can sometimes be the main cause of breast cancer.
2- Reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease: Eggs contain up to 40 grams of high-density lipoprotein (or “good” cholesterol) that can prevent many cardiovascular diseases. It turns out that the idea that eggs increase cholesterol levels is completely wrong because the body regulates its own cholesterol level, and that excess LDL cholesterol is produced by the body itself and not by the eggs. This is confirmed by research conducted at the Louisiana Center for Biomedical Studies.
The research was conducted on obese people who were divided into three groups. The main group ate nothing for breakfast, the second group ate two eggs and the third group only ate a little bread. The results were surprising: the egg group lost 15% of their weight and 35% of their belly fat, and there were no changes in their cholesterol levels. The excessive content of omega-3 fatty acids in eggs can lower triglyceride levels, which helps prevent many cardiovascular problems.
3- Improve vision: Eggs are the best food to improve vision because they contain a high percentage of vitamin A, lutein and zeaxanthin. Vitamin A is important for our vision. Likewise, lutein and zeaxanthin are powerful antioxidants that eliminate free radicals and improve your vision naturally.
