With the SCL1000, Kubota Tractor Corp. has entered the stand-on track loader market. According to the company, the SCL1000 boasts wide tracks, a thin body, and a 1,000-pound rated working capacity. The normal track width of the Kubota SCL1000 compact track loader is 9.8 inches, and its overall width is 36 inches. The integrated track design, with the undercarriage connected to the body’s chassis, is long-lasting, according to Kubota.
The 24.8 horsepower Kubota diesel engine that powers the Kubota micro skid steer can function at high elevations without the need for a diesel particulate filter. The loader arms have a reach of 25.9 inches at a 45-degree dump angle and a hinge pin height of 84.7 inches, according to Kubota, which claims that the unit’s hydraulic pump, which is directly connected to the engine, lowers maintenance.
Auxiliary hydraulic lines are run inside the loader arm for maximum safety. The case drain is a typical component. Auxiliary hydraulic couplers are pressure release couplers. The attachment’s hose guide is typical. For the machine to operate, the hydraulics must be freed, hence the engine rpm must be at idle.
For the operator’s comfort, the platform suspension system can be modified, and the boom cylinders are cushioned. Other features include a 12-volt charging port, keyless access with passcode protection, and a 4.3-inch LCD color dash monitor with centralized machine monitoring. The price of the Kubota SCL 1000 is unknown, however it will be offered in the second half of 2020 at a limited number of authorized Kubota dealers.
