A gigantic python in Indonesia met an untimely end when it was devoured after losing a fight with a local guy.
On Saturday, security guard Robert Nababan came saw the snake on a palm oil plantation road in Sumatra’s Batang Gansal district.
According to accounts, Mr Nababan attempted to capture the 7.8m (26ft) long python.
It attacked him, and the man and the reptile struggled until Mr Nababan k.i.l.l.ed it with the assistance of local villagers.
The guard was seriously ɪɴᴊᴜʀᴇᴅ but survived.
The python did not fare as well as Mr Nababan, as its body was hung up for exhibition in a village before being sliced up, cooked, and eaten.
