Candied walnuts, pear and spinach salad

1 cup walnuts
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tablespoons butter
Dash of sea salt
Place all ingredients into a nonstick pan over medium heat and cook for 7-8 minutes stirring constantly with a heat resistant spatula.
After cooking spread the walnuts in a pan coated with non stick spray and separate the nuts with a fork.
Allow 10 minutes to cool.

Spinach
Romaine lettuce
Pears (cut into small sticks) tossed in a dash of Sazon seasoning
Cranberries
Candied walnuts
Shaved parmesan cheese
Sea salt
Fresh cracked pepper

In a Mason jar I add 1/4 cup of pear preserves to my vinaigrette dressing and shook vigorously. The flavor is devine!
