This unique egg salad sandwich is the best and easy to prepare!So it’s funny how I ended up loving egg salad sandwiches for lunch, considering the main ingredient is hard-boiled eggs. Sure, it’s not only firm-boiled eggs, but that deifference is usually hard to pass on—as with kids, when you’re try to get them to eat vegetables in their soup.
3 ounces soft cream cheese
Pickled dill taste
2 tablespoons soft butter
2 tablespoons chopped celery
1 tablespoon mayonnaise (or more if desired)
1 teaspoon grated onion
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
6 hard-boiled eggs, finely chopped
- Directions :
- In a medium bowl, mix cheese and butter. Stir until smooth.
- Stir in celery, 1 tbsp. Mayonnaise, onion, sugar, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
- Fold in the eggs.
- Cover and let cool for an hour.
- Serve on bread or croissants – sprinkle with paprika if desired.
