*FRENCH TOAST BAKE *

Easy No Refrigeration Overnight French Toast Contains Cinnamon, Brown Sugar and Buttery French Toast Perfect for your family or a crowd of people.
This breakfast recipe contains all the familiar flavors of your favorite French toast and is designed to feed a crowd once in a while. Just like Sheet Pancakes, this recipe will have your family splashing on warm maple syrup in no time.

Ingredients

  •  cinnamon for sprinkling

  • powdered sugar for sprinkling

  •  0.5 cup melted butter (1 stick)

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1 loaf of heavy bread

  • 4 eggs

  • 1.5 cups milk

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • Directions :

Melt the butter in the microwave, add the brown sugar, and stir until combined.

Pour the butter/sugar mixture into the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan…. Spread around.

Beat eggs, milk and vanilla

Put the slices of bread in the pan

Put half a tablespoon of the egg mixture on the bread layer

Sprinkle a little cinnamon on the bread/eggs

Add the second layer of bread slices

Pour the remaining egg mixture with a spoon

Cover and refrigerate overnight

Bake at 350 for 45 minutes (covered for first 30 minutes)

Sprinkle with powdered sugar and cinnamon

Served with warm maple syrup
