An easy pasta salad, just like you would get it from a deli at the grocery store! This basic version of the classic pasta salad can be modified to include tuna, peas, or any add-ons you like!
1/4 cup finely chopped parsley
1 cup red pepper cut into cubes
1 1/2 cups finely chopped celery
1 pound of pasta, cooked according to package directions
1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
3 tablespoons sour cream
3 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
1 teaspoon yellow mustard
2 teaspoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Directions :
Cook pasta according to package directions, then drain and rinse with cold water until pasta is cool. drain well.
In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, apple cider vinegar, yellow mustard, sugar, salt, and black pepper.
Combine pasta with sauce, then stir in finely chopped celery, sweet red pepper, and finely chopped parsley.
Refrigerate for an hour before serving.
