Macaroni Salad

Ingredients

  • 4 mugs raw joint macaroni

  • 1 mug mayo

  • 1/4 mug distilled white vinegar

  • 2/3 cup white sugar

  • 2 1/2 tablespoons ready yellow mustard

  • 1 1/2 tsps salt

  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper

  • 1 big onion, chopped 2 stalks celery, sliced

  • 1 green bell pepper, seeded as well as chopped

  • 1/4 cup grated carrot (Optional)

  • 2 tablespoons sliced pimento peppers (Optional)

Directions

Step 1. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Include the macaroni, and cook up until tender, regarding 8 mins. Rinse under cool water and drainpipe.
Step 2. In a large bowl, mix with each other the mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, mustard, salt and pepper. Stir in the onion, celery, green pepper, carrot, pimentos and also macaroni. Cool for at least 4 hrs prior to offering, but preferably overnight.
