Polish-sausage Sauerkraut & potatoes

This easy skillet meal is the perfect one-dish meal on its own, but when I make Kielbasa Potatoes and Sauerkraut for dinner, I also make a fresh salad. If you’re looking for easy yet delicious salad recipes, check out some of our favorites.

  • Ingredients :

Β°2 14 oz cans sauerkraut, undrain (or 1 (2-pound) bag)
Β°5 or 6 potatoes sweet , peel & cut to large pieces
Β°1 C water
Β°1 pound Polish sausage, cut into pieces (smoked sausage can be used)
Β°1 teaspoon cumin seeds
Β°1 bay leaf
Β°1/4 teaspoon pepper

  • How to making :

Put the sauerkraut and potatoes in a crock pot, and add the spices and water. Place sausage on top and cook for 4 hours (minimum 6 hours) until potatoes are tender. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
