Roasted Garlic and Herb Shrimp with Spaghetti

This easy weeknight dinner is like a spicy spaghetti and meatballs, but it uses heart-healthy shrimp instead.

Ingredients

2 tbsp. Gustare Vita olive oil

Add garlic, crushed
3 clove(s) garlic, crushed

Add Prego roasted garlic & herb Italian sauce
3 c. Prego roasted garlic & herb Italian sauce

Add Hy-Vee crushed red pepper
Β½ tsp. Hy-Vee crushed red pepper

Add frozen medium shrimp, peeled and deveined , thawed, if frozen
1 lbs. frozen medium shrimp, peeled and deveined , thawed, if frozen

Add (10 oz) pkg. Pepperidge Farm garlic bread
1 (10 oz) pkg. Pepperidge Farm garlic bread

Add (16-oz.) pkg spaghetti, cooked and drained (about 8 c.)
1 (16-oz.) pkg spaghetti, cooked and drained (about 8 c.)

Add fresh Italian parsley, rosemary or thyme, minced, optional
3 tbsp. fresh Italian parsley, rosemary or thyme, minced, optional

Directions

Step1
Heat the oven to 400 degrees.

Step2
Heat the oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook until it’s golden.

Step3
Stir the sauce and red pepper in the skillet and heat to a boil. Reduce the heat to low. Add the shrimp and cook for 5 minutes or until they’re cooked through.

Step4
Meanwhile, bake the bread according to the package directions.

Step5
Toss the spaghetti with the shrimp mixture. Sprinkle with the parsley. Cut the bread into 2-inch diagonal slices. Serve the bread with the spaghetti mixture.
